​Millwood Homes began in 2008, founded by Jeff and Patti Nadu during one of the most uncertain moments in modern economic history. As the housing market collapsed, they made the bold decision to transition from their longtime masonry contracting business, built over 20 years, into homebuilding. Backed by more than three decades of experience in the trades, Jeff started with a simple but powerful goal: to build homes the right way, with lasting quality and integrity.

Jeff brought an unmatched work ethic to everything he did. He believed in showing up early, standing behind his work, and never cutting corners; values that continue to shape Millwood Homes to this day. His legacy is not only in the homes he helped build, but in the standard he set: that a builder’s name should be something worth trusting.

In 2011, Millwood Homes launched its first major community, Chestnut Valley. Just two years later, the company began what would become its largest project to date, Bennett Run, where over 300 homes were built across a decade. In 2015, Jeff and Patti’s son, Quinn, officially joined the company after years of working alongside his father and learning the trade first-hand.

Growth continued in 2018 with the addition of the subdivision, Donwood Estates in Dover, and in 2022 Millwood began preparing a 10-acre site at Lauxmont Estates for nine future home sites. That same year, the company surpassed 400 homes built. In 2023, Millwood acquired and began development of a 14-acre property in Wrightsville that will become home to 42 new duplex units.

Today, in 2025, Millwood Homes manages four active subdivisions across York County. Still family-run and driven by Jeff’s enduring example, Millwood remains committed to doing things the right way; with care, pride, and the kind of quality you can feel when you walk through the front door.
