New Subdivision Breaks Ground in Lauxmont Estates, Wrightsville PA

Millwood Homes is proud to announce the start of construction at Lauxmont Estates, a new custom home community in York County, Pennsylvania.

For Millwood, every community starts long before the first home is built.

It starts with the land.

Over the coming months, our team will begin the earthwork and site development necessary to transform Lauxmont Estates from a plan on paper into a place where homes can be built and families can put down roots.

Millwood Homes will be leading the earthwork and development of the community, preparing the land, infrastructure, roads, and homesites that will ultimately form the foundation of Lauxmont Estates.

For the homes themselves, we are excited to be working alongside Custom Home Group, a respected local custom home builder with decades of experience building throughout Central Pennsylvania.

The partnership allows each company to focus on what it does best: Millwood developing the land and creating the community, and Custom Home Group working with homeowners to bring individually designed custom homes to life.

We have always believed that good development begins with respecting the land you are building on. Roads should follow the property naturally. Homes should feel like they belong where they are placed. And when the work is finished, a neighborhood should feel established rather than imposed.

There is an enormous amount of work that happens between an untouched piece of ground and a finished neighborhood. Much of it will eventually disappear beneath roads, lawns, landscaping, and homes. But those early decisions ultimately determine the quality of everything that follows.
